Volunteers can extend their help by sharing a hobby, interests or simple conversation with our residents. We welcome all social activities that help both our residents and volunteers extend their reach into the community and learn all about each other. Volunteering is an excellent way to meet new people in your community and share an interest that everyone is interested in. For students and charitable groups is also a way to en tend your outreach and develop interpersonal skills.
I don't have a lot extra time. Can I still help?
The wonderful thing about volunteering is Cornerstone can work with your schedule. A few minutes of quality time or a few hours of quality time can really go a long way. If you're interested in volunteering Cornerstone is happy to work with your schedule, ideas and interests and incorporate them into our Cornerstone Community.
Volunteering can also mean sending a letter or card with a warm hello to our residents. You can find new and interesting ways to share your time and really make a difference in the lives of one of our residents.
